Your brand affects everything you do, from your messaging and touchpoints all the way to the decisions you make about the direction you want to take your organization. Your brand is often the first connection that people have with your business and it is the baseline for professional credibility. It’s important to establish a brand strategy that targets the right audience and properly conveys your organization’s personality and intentions.
This side of branding is about clearly articulating the vision and values behind your company, what makes it unique, and how your product or service can transform the lives of the people who use it. It is key to develop your personality before diving into developing your visual brand; doing so allows our designers to create long-lasting, comprehensive identities that accurately represent your company. In our brand strategy development, we will work together over multiple sessions to establish your brand personality by using a variety of design thinking techniques to distill the core building blocks of your brand.
Visual Identity Design
Once you’ve figured out your brand’s personality, it’s time to develop the visual components that will represent your company. The visual identity of your brand affects all of your touchpoints, from your website to email campaigns to social media. Here, we’ll work together to create a comprehensive identity that spans both digital and print touchpoints.
Visual brand deliverables vary by organization. Some assets can be (but are not limited to):
We will have a thorough conversation about your organization, its pain points, and identity. We will also discuss your visual tastes in order to begin mapping out your brand pillars. No detail is too small at this stage.
We perform a thorough analysis of your target audience and combine it with the information gathered in the discovery phase in order to begin developing comprehensive brand messaging guidelines.
After we’ve established your brand messaging guidelines, we review some mood boards in order to begin clearly articulating the direction we should take for your visual identity. Once we have decided on a visual direction, we create the rest of the deliverables for your branding package.
Once all of your materials are complete, we will compile them into a comprehensive brand guide. We will review the guide together so that you have a thorough understanding of how to successfully use your new brand collateral. You will be all set and ready to move forward with your brand new identity!
The brand guide will be in PDF format and all of the font files will be .OTF. You will receive HEX, RGB, and CMYK codes for the colors to ensure their consistent use across print and digital platforms. Any logos or image deliverables will be sent in .PNG, .JPG, and .EPS file formats along with the original Illustrator or Photoshop file so that you can make future edits should you wish to do so. Print deliverables such as business card, notepads, and letterhead will be in packaged folders with the PDF and source files. All of your deliverables will be organized in folders using a clear and concise system to reduce confusion upon handover.
